With three years gone past since the Cardiff and Vale Urdd Eisteddfod in 2019, the Welsh Youth Parliament is looking forward to welcoming you to our stall this year at the Denbighshire Urdd Eisteddfod (30 May - 4 June).

So much has changed since 2019, including the Youth Parliament. The current 60 Members were elected by the young people of Wales in an online election in November 2021. There are 40 Members representing 40 constituencies across the whole of Wales, and 20 Members representing 18 partner organisations, including the Urdd. Do you know who the other partner organisations are? The answer is here. If you don't already know, you can also find out who represents you in the Welsh Youth Parliament here.

The Members, all aged 11-18, have voted to focus on

  • Our mental health and well-being
  • The climate and the environment
  • Education and the school curriculum

over the next two years. This work will doubtless build on the work of the first Youth Parliament; you can remind yourself of that work here. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the work of the Youth Parliament on these three topics, and you will have the opportunity to share what is important to you about these at the Urdd Eisteddfod – a great opportunity to use your voice.

So, what will we have for you at this year's Urdd Eisteddfod? Plenty of opportunity for you to express your views on Youth Parliament issues, a chance to keep fit on the Ynni Da bikes, and charge your phone at the same time. Who knows, some of the Welsh Youth Parliament Members may be hiding on the stall too!

As if that wasn't enough, you and your friends will have the opportunity to take an exclusive selfie – a great way to remember your visit to the Welsh Youth Parliament stall at the Denbighshire Urdd Eisteddfod 2022. See you there!
