Candidate Statement: I want to be a Welsh youth parliament
because I want to make a difference. I am very confident and won’t hesitate to speak
up about what I think is right. If you vote for me I will make sure that a
difference will be made. I will help young people’s voices across Wales be
heard. I will reach people using social media so that their voices are
guaranteed to get heard. I have already made an impact in my school by being a
form rep.
I believe that sexism is a massive issue in schools across
Wales. For example in PE girls have to do different sports to boys and
vice-versa. Gender should not limit or define you.
As a young person myself i know that metal health is an
issue. Children should be able to have someone to speak to so that they don't
feel alone.
As the pandemic begun the environment has become more clean
but as we start to ease back into normality it won’t stay like that. I want to
help children get outdoors and clean the environment .If I’m elected I will
make sure to encourage more litter picking in my area.
